At First Step Behavioral Health, our Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) program is designed to support youth and families who are experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. IHBT brings mental health services directly into the home and community, creating a safe, familiar environment where real change can happen. Our IHBT team works closely with youth and caregivers to reduce crisis behaviors, improve communication, build healthy routines, and strengthen the entire family system. Services are individualized and intensive, offering support multiple times per week based on the family’s needs.
Our Case Managers work alongside clients to remove barriers, build independence, and connect them with the resources they need to thrive. Whether it’s coordinating medical or mental health appointments, accessing community resources, improving daily living skills, securing benefits, supporting school or work goals, or strengthening routines, we offer practical, compassionate guidance every step of the way.
